Update: Super Information Theory v76 – Setting the Historical Record Straight
Addressing the "Gap-Filling" Phenomenon: How legacy theories in 2024–2025 are finally solving their oldest problems by adopting the architecture I published in 2017.
Science is a conversation, but it is also a timeline. Today, I am releasing Version 76 of Super Information Theory (SIT), a critical update that does more than just refine the physics—it audits the history.

The “Gap-Filling” Phenomenon
Over the last two years (2024–2025), a fascinating trend has emerged in theoretical physics and neuroscience. Long-standing research programs—some established decades ago—have suddenly begun to resolve their most persistent “open problems.”
How? By quietly adopting specific architectural solutions that were absent from their original frameworks but were explicitly defined and published in the Super Information Theory corpus between 2017 and 2022.
I call this “Gap-Filling.” It is the process where a legacy theory, stalled by a conceptual dead-end, imports a solution from a newer framework (SIT) to bridge the gap between abstract math and physical reality.
What is New in Version 76?
This updated document includes a comprehensive Historical Priority & Conceptual Lineage section. It serves as a forensic analysis of over 150 related theoretical frameworks, documenting the exact moment they converged with SIT principles.
Key additions include:
The Origin Timeline (2017–2025): A documented trail tracing the core principles of SIT—specifically Coincidence Detection, Time Density, and Oscillatory Agency—back to their initial public release in 2017.
Forensic Evidence: Detailed comparisons showing how “new” breakthroughs in Causal Fermion Systems and Spatial Computing are functionally identical to mechanisms I pioneered years prior.
The Receipts: An exhaustive appendix aggregating independent timestamps (Wayback Machine, GitHub, DOIs) that clarify the distinction between the original SIT framework and the subsequent parallel works appearing today.
Why This Matters
It is not enough to simply have the right ideas; the timeline matters. When multiple fields converge on a single solution—specifically the unification of Time Density and Coherence—it is vital to understand the provenance of that solution.
SIT did not merely participate in the current scientific zeitgeist; it actively anticipated the functional mechanisms that the broader field is now adopting.
